Δεν είναι η πρώτη φορά που συμβαίνει κάτι τέτοιο. Θυμάμαι την καυτή περίοδο με τις μυνήσεις για πειρατεία CDs και την εποχή του Napster οι πωλήσεις CDs είχαν αυξηθεί!
Something that should be noted is that two shows uploaded onto Youtube, Jon Stewarts "The Daily Show" and "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" had a major effect on results of recent elections in the US. The satirical shows, that often poked fun at Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld, influenced younger voters who turned up in greatly increased numbers. Some commentators have said that the Democrats owe a huge debt of gratitude to both comedians as well as to Youtube. Now the conservative Fox News is planning a comedy show to ridicule the Democratic Party. Funny.

What was most interesting in the CBS press release was that theydidnt give credit to or even acknolwedge user uploaded content. If you are going to celebrate Youtube and its value, isnt that supposed to be at its heart ? What the individual users do with content ?
